Unanswered: Open Report filted by value in a control

    Hi guys...

I have a form that has an unbound textbox control (txtPONumber) and the form also has command button that opens a report when clicked. What I want to accomplished is, when the command button is clicked rather than opening a report that contains all records, I want the report to filter only records that is equal to the value of txtPONumber.

    add:

    WHERE [PONumber] = forms!yourParamForm!txtPONumber

That's assuming PONumber is an actual number, you'll have to enclose the parameter in quotes otherwise.
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

    Or
I the I like todo it is by setting it in the Docmd itself

    DoCmd.OpenReport "This_Report_v1", acViewNormal, , "[PONumber] =" & Me.txtPONumber

doing it this way you can use the same report but get differance anser just by changing the whereoption
    hope this help

    See clear as mud
