Question Unanswered: user defined import maps

I'm looking for some guidance in creating a form to allow users to define their own import maps.

The users will be importing data from different text files, and I need them to be able to create field maps as needed without requiring additional porgramming.

I can handle the form creation, although I would appreciate any suggestions about that too. What I really could use some help with is the coding behind the form that creates the import SQL.

    Thank you,
    David

SQL you say? What flavor? You may be better served by creating DTS packages if it's SQL Server. How do you see the user creating maps, as in, what process do you think they would go through?
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

It's an Access database. The form would read the fields from the text file and put them in one column. Then it would show the fields from the database's table in another column. Then the user would use some method of matching them up or reordering the text file so that the system would then know what field order to import the file in.
