    Unanswered: ADODB.Stream error '800a0bbc'

This happens with MAC/Safari users only.
Why does it happen, and how can I fix it.

    ADODB.Stream error '800a0bbc'

    Write to file failed.

    /AssistantsDB/Assistants_Edit_my_listingedit.asp, line 1223

Yes the files and folder are Read Write, yes all privileges granted ...
    This is infuriating

The code was generated using ASP Maker 4.2 if that makes any differance.

Thanks to anyone offering help and kind words.
    James

Without seeing some code it's hard to tell... I would suspect your error actually occurs before this point in the code, but this is the first place it causes a crash....

Perhaps take a look at this for some ideas:

Why do I get 800A0BBC errors?

    Yes, I saw that post.
I also searched before asking in here.
I have give all needed permissions on all files and folders as I states in the first post.

Again this only Happens with Safari
