    Unanswered: UserID in Access

Is there a way to make a form pull in the userID of the person logged onto the PC with =currentuser() without the database being secured? Or is there another way I can do this? I guess I need to know how to make it pull the network ID. When I tried =currentuser(), all entries made by anyone were showing as userID Admin. I also tried =getuser() and it did not populate with the network ID, I got the old #NAME?

Thanks. I will give this a try if our IS dept will allow me to copy the code in. I found another forum on the topic with a database sample. It looked easy but I could not get it to work in my db. I did not realize that there was a module involved, so maybe this will help.
    Thanks
