    Unanswered: Size of Access Database

Is there a way using which the size of the access database can be compressed without turning off any insertion of records or forcibly logging off any users.
We have an Access database, which has a table (table A) is populated by a process every 2 minutes. Every night, we archive table A records to another table after summarizing the records by an hour. After archiving we delete records from table A. However, this is not releasing the space occupied by table A. We don't want to bring down the database in case we want to use Compact and Repair feature. Any thoughts?

    Thank you all in advance,
