    Unanswered: running totals

    Hi I have a form that I want to keep a running total of an account in. I got the Fine is for 41,000 so the person makes payments on that, now what I have is =[FineAmount]-[FinePayment] the problem is that it doesnt give me the amount thats due after the payment has been subtracted. If I add another payment it doesnt reflect it in the remainingamount

    Help

    sumit

    Try doing a domain sum for the account

    TotalPayments = dSum("FinePayment","tblFinePayments","Account = " & AccountID

    remainingamount = [FineAmount] - TotalPayments
