    Unanswered: Importing an excel file into mysql db?

    Hi there

    This is my first post so take it eazy haha

    I have quiet alot of data in a excel spreadsheet and was wondering if there was any way I could import that data into a mysql database? Will I have to change the format so its a csv file? Any help would be much appreciated

    I'm pretty sure you can just export the .xls file to a csv file. MySQL should be able to import that csv file. Never done it personally, but I'm almost positive it can be done.
