    Question Unanswered: Unable to drop a user

    Hi all of you.

    By accident I created a new user in our Oracle with the username :
    'VAD' (including the single quotes (HEX 2C) on booth sides of the real username).

    Unfortunately I am not able to to drop this user again. The error message from Oracle is:

    ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
    ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended
    ORA-06512: at line 7

    Could some of you bright people out there help me to drop this user.

    Thank you and regards,

    Sql> Drop User "'vad'" Cascade;
    You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
    The average person thinks he's above average!
    For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
    Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
