Exclamation Unanswered: Sage connection to Visual Basic .NET 2003

    Hello,

just looking for some advice on the best way of creating a connection from Sage line 50 v11 to Visual Basic .NET 2003. Having a few problems in the way of research for this connection and was wondering if anyone had any pointers that they could give me. Thank you.

I think you have your directions confused.

You want to link TO the SAGE system.

ref http://www.dbforums.com/t1008616.html for some earlier information on the subject.

Apparently, Sage provides an ODBC driver that you can use to interface to the underlying data tables. This is mentioned here.

    ODBC Connection for Sage

hi, i know this also, but i can't find it in the Data Sources Administrator in the Windows Control Panel. I know it was installed as it had to be done as a seperate installation.

    Thanks,

The article that I linked mentions where to find the ODBC install.
