    Unhappy Unanswered: Caller Line Identification (CLI)

    I am trying to develop an Access database that will bring up customer information base on a CLI input does anyone have an ideas how i can achieve this??????

    A good starting point would be to google "TAPI".
    And this is quite a good document that lists specific details, including some ActiveX TAPI controls: http://www.ainslie.org.uk/callerid/cli_faq.htm

    You could of course just monitor the serial port and analyse the incoming data to work out what commands are being sent from your modem/interface, but this would hog the serial port so it's usually best to go through TAPI.
