Unanswered: Copy file to http webserver

    Hi,
In MS Access I use a copyfile command to copy files. That works all fine. The problem is that I want now to do this operation with the destination a web server (or http address). Is there a way to do this from VBA?
I have the network place connection on my pc and I am the owner of the webpage. Something like this I tried:

    FSO.copyfile “C:\temp.temp.xls”, http://lscachannel.business.agilent.com/temp.xls

I read something about the web class which can be used, but I am not quite sure how to use that one.

    Any ideas? Thanks Felix

Pleae note I could be 100% wrong on this:

You are asking to send a file to a server then giving a web an HTTP address for said server. The two are not one in the same. If you are the only one copying the file to the server or just anyone on your domain that has rights to it I would use it's network path \\servername\...

Otherwise I believe you would need to set up a way to FTP the file.

Bad connectivity on this end ate my reply...

You can do this leveraging winsock to establish an ftp or telnet session as Darasen suggests, or you could create a server-side script to handle the file upload and use a Microsoft Web Browser or something similar to hit the script from access.
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
