Unanswered: Import .csv file direct from web

    Hi!

I'm writing a database to manage my Lotto numbers!

The UK National Lottery website allows you to download a complete draw history in .csv format. I've manually downloaded this and imported it into Access.

Can anyone advise me how I could automatically do this within Access?

If I can't import the file directly into a table, could I force the download to a temporary folder, and then import from there?

Also, could anyone advise me how to omit certain rows when importing from .csv as the file has a couple of rows after the header with non csv data, and this screws-up the import?

    Many thanks,

    Qpid.
