Unanswered: Where to store information. (tabel system)

I'm been doing vba (ms access) programming for a few years and just started looking into vb.
    My questions are:
If I'm building a stand alone program (no sql etc) what should I store the data in?
How do I connect to it?
Do you have any good starting url's, movie's or...
    Thanx for your time.

The VB approach taken for data storage depends, to a great extent, upon the type and amount of data to store.

A general discussion of this topic can be found in the File I/O installment of the VB Standards & Practices tutoria.

If you've decided on text or data files to hold your data, here is a good File I/O tutorial.
