Unanswered: How can I avoid archivelog with the import utility

I have to import a lot of registers ( about 10 Gb into two tables ) so I want to disable the archivelog mode, but only in this two tables, it is not usefull change to nologging the tables. Do you know how to do it.

You cant reduce redo logging using import apart from using fewer commits. You could import the data into a test database which is in nologging and then copy it into your prod database using "insert /*+ append */ " to reduce logging (table will have to be in nologging mode but this only effects inserts done using the append hint). Alternatively I believe sqlldr can load data directly with reduced logging but it cant read files generated by exp.
