    Question Unanswered: RFID with Database

I am doing research on RFID and MS access Database. I am planning to use short range Access control to detect employee work start time and finish time. Does anyone know to connect the database with RFID? Because is the testing stage, I only need to use 10 RFID card. I think this is connecting to personal computer.

I am not sure about RFID with Microsoft Access. I use RFID systems with a Database for the Marine Corps to track the movement of military vehicles so i will look into some things for you.

The make or break part of the project is going to be interfacing the RFID reader with your application, whether you use Access as your report, JET as your data store is less important.

I'd want to understand how the reader works, how you transfer the data from the readr into a computer usable storage method.

Then and only then would I really start to worry about whether Access is a good front end to present the information. I'm guessing it will be.

Having seen the nightmare it now is to interface serial ports to .NET applications it could make or break the project.
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
