I recently got a new workstation that has XP SP2 and SQL Server client SP3a. I'm trying to debug a procedure on a server that has SQL 2000 SP3a. I'm getting the following error:
Server: Msg 504, Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_sdidebug, Line 1
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Unable to connect to debugger on CDB3106\CDB3106 (Error = 0x80070005). Ensure that client-side components, such as SQLDBREG.EXE, are installed and registered on WSCR003629. Debugging disabled for connection 67.

I've researched this error and read various articles and threads about problems with debugging and XP. Files and registration of dll and exe seem to be correct. A fellow worker has XP SP1 and he can debug. Do I need to apply SQL 2000 SP4 to get debugging to work? Or is there something else I'm missing?
