    Unanswered: hiding fields depending on data inputted

    this is probably really easy to do but i've having a blonde day!

    Can anyone tell me how I can make a field visable/ unlocked once a tick box is ticked:

    for example I have a tick box to say whether staff are registered, once this is ticked I want the registration number box to be visual or unlocked so then I can enter in the appropriate number. Its just so i can stop my user entering irrelvant information for staff who are not registered.

    cheers my dears

    Use the onclick event or your checkbox:

    If yourCheckBox = -1 Then
    yourControl.visible = True
    yourControl.visible = False
    End If

    Or you could be REALLY sneaky:

    yourControl.visible = yourCheckBox
    oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
