    Unanswered: insert text in a row with existing text

    Hi,

    I have a db with a row called datapath. Right now it is just a number, 1.tit, 2.tif. what i need to do is insert f:\ before the existing information. i am looking for the easiest solution.

    UPDATE yourTable
    SET yourField = "f:\" & yourField

    Make sure your boss doesn't notice you're playing with .tit files by the way...
    oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

    thanks for the help, and it was my bosses idea to look qat the .tit files
