Unanswered: Auto starting instance at boot up time.

    V8.2 AIX , and Solaris.

I need to auto start the instance at server boot up time . That way when
the system restarted db2 will be up. How do i do that.

All i know is i have to put some entries in inittab.

    autostart

the entrry has to be available in /etc/inittab to start the coord.daemon
for each instance to autostart : db2fm -i xxx -f on <<-- specifies to keep the setting by instance for autostart
db2fm -i xx -u -U to start the fault monitor manually
    see infocenter for correct syntax
(if fixpack below 10 : there is a bug with fault mon.coord.daemon started from inittab) : specify bin32 for entry..
