    Question Unanswered: Crystal Reports Table Grid

    I'm using Crystal 8.5 to produce some reports.

    One report display data in a grid.

    I noticed that when the grid is setup (by the report creation wizard), it places the bottom part of the box in the page footer.

    However, if there is less than a page of data, the grid should be closed-off before the bottom of the page.

    What is the correct way to do this?

    I have placed the bottom of the box in the details section but it looks tatty and not correct. Where am I going wrong?

    Any help appreciated.

    Create an "artificial" group that will be the same for every record (e.g. a formula field called "Group Formula" that simply contains the string "Everything").

    When you group by "Group Formula", all your records of course appear in the one group... however, you can now place the box/grid to end in the group footer which will end at the correct place regardless of where it is on the page!

    You can then supress the group header to neaten it all up.
