    Unanswered: resetting dbm cfg

    I have updated the following 4 parameters some months back
    db2 update dbm cfg using CPUSPEED -1;
    db2 update dbm cfg using FCM_NUM_BUFFERS 4096;
    db2 update dbm cfg using SHEAPTHRES 793600;
    db2 update dbm cfg using INTRA_PARALLEL NO;

    But now I would like to reset these 4 parameters back to its default value (as if a fresh installation) which I dont know at the moment.

    Questions are
    1, How can I reset it to default value ?
    2. Is there is a short cut to reinstate all DBM variables to its default value using a single command instead of doing a update dbm cfg for each parameters?

    And I want to do it from command prompt only and not GUI. UDB V8.2 on AIX 5.3

    If you want to reset all values to the defaults, use RESET DBM CFG command ... Read the warnings in the documentation before you attempt to do this ..

    If you want only 4 of the parms to be reset, AFAIK, you will have to refer to the documentation for the default values and update them ...
