    Unanswered: disk init

    hello,
    how can i do the reversed action of "disk init" command?

    sp_dropdevice removes the device name from sysdevices. sp_dropdevice does not remove an operating system file: it only makes the file inaccessible to Adaptive Server. You must use operating system commands to delete a file after using sp_dropdevice.

    Unhappy The reversed action of disk init command

    The reverse of disk init is notthing but dropping the device
    which u can do by using a particular command
    sp_dropdevice device_name
