    Unanswered: the gap between dba_hist_sqltext and dba_hist_sqlstat

    Hi,
    We're using ORACLE 10gR2 RAC system on linux.
    I try to get the historical picture for the sql executions.
    I will get the sql from dba_hist_sqltext and get the statistics from the dba_hist_sqlstat.
    But there are so many sqls in the sqltext which don't have any data in the sqlstat view.
    Is this normal?
    And where can I find the statistics for the remaining sqls?
    Thanks.

    select count(*) from (
    select sql_id from dba_hist_sqltext
    where sql_id not in (select distinct sql_id from dba_hist_sqlstat)
    )

    result : 42

    DBA_HIST_SQLSTAT displays historical information about SQL statistics. This view captures the top SQL statements based on a set of criteria and captures the statistics information from V$SQL. The total value is the value of the statistics since instance startup. The delta value is the value of the statistics from the BEGIN_INTERVAL_TIME to the END_INTERVAL_TIME in the DBA_HIST_SNAPSHOT view.
