    Unanswered: ASE performance (bcp)

We have ASE 12.5.0.3 on AIX 4.3.3. There is only one major job runs on it when we run into this issue... the performace of bcp job degrades after the weekend reboot of machine. By Tuesday/Wednesday ASE server needs another recycle. After ASE recycle everything becomes fine. Has anyone seen this kind of behaviour?

    Thanks

Try to use a kind of bcp that do a dump tran every "n" amount of lines, but if that bcp is so big, be carefull 'casue it'll take more time.

Try to run a "sp_sysmon" during the bcp and later, it'll give you recomendations about memory, caches, etc, for improve the performance of your machine.
