    Unanswered: execute commands from file

    Hello i start postgres hour ago so im complete new to this.
    I was reading the \? for commands:
    \i file
    my question is where should be the location of the file on my system, im using gentoo Linux.

    Anywhere the owner of postgres (usually 'postgres' user) has access to...
    'file' is a full path, so you can do something like:
    Code:
    \i '/home/cmancre/commands.sql'
