Question Unanswered: How to change/set terminator code

    Hi all,

Is there any way to change the terminator code from "GO" to ";" ?

I know this can be done by using "isql -c;", but I am not using isql, I need execute a bunch of SQL through my java-base client

this can be done using your client application, which sends the request to sybase.

There is no generic way to do this. With isql it's done with the -c command line argument. With sqsh you can change this in the .sqshrc file.

In your java app you'll have to find out how this is done, assuming the app actually supports this - if no support for changing this is included in the client code then there isn't much that you can do about it.
