    Unanswered: Ingres: Date formats using Copy Table

    I'm unloading data from an Ingres database into text files (with '|' as the delimiter) using the 'Copy table' command e.g.

    Copy table person
    (
    sname = char(0)'|',
    fname = char(0)'|',
    date = char(0)nl
    )
    into 'file.txt'

    The date is being output in dd/mm/yy format, but I need it in dd/mm/yyyy format (or any four digit year format). Can this be done easily?

    Grateful (desperate!!!) for any advice

    Set II_DATE_FORMAT within the session to MULTINATIONAL4 before invoking the sql session eg:

    setenv II_DATE_FORMAT MULTINATIONAL4

    sql ...........
