    Cool Unanswered: Re-Create DB

    Hi All

Guess that I have this Scenario :

From the OEM I made a FULL-BACKUP (RMAN Backup), then
I copy the result files to another machine that has then same oracle version 9i
and the same operating system windows2000 server.

    the question is :
HOW I can Re-Create the Database using those file ???

    Cool

Maybe you can get a clue by reading the manual.

You'll need a pfile as well as the backups (though you can use a generic pfile if needed).

You'll probably end up using ORADIM and possibly ORAPWD as well. Google these utilities and search on AskTom or some of the other sites.
