Unanswered: Too many indexes slower query??

    Hi Guys,

Is having too many unnecessary indexes slower Select Queries in Oracle??

Lets say i always get customer data from customer table based on their id
but i have few indexes based on their id , address , email and so on

Will it affect the performance of select query??

    Thanks

No, not at all. They will have some (small) impact on inserts, updates and deletes as the indexes need to be maintained.
