    Unanswered: Boolean data type in Oracle 9i

    Hi all,
    I tried to create table with a column as Booleand data type, but I couldn't!
    Can anyone explain to me how?
    When create a procedure with parameter as Boolean is OK!

    Boolean is not a valid datatype during table creation. This is page which explains a lot about Oracle datatypes.

    Workaround would be creating a column of, for example, a NUMBER datatype which would accept 0 as FALSE and 1 as TRUE or any similar solution (VARCHAR2 column with Y (true) and N (false), etc.).
