    Unanswered: Setting the Defualt Database in SQL 2005

    Its not a big deal but enoying enought that i always have to

    USE MyDatabase

    -- Instead of having it set as the defualt and not adventureworks

    So set it as your default database. It's a property of your login under the server security tab.
    If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.

    Are you using SQL SERV 2005? I change the defualt database on all logins but still ended up with adventureworks.


    I just found it, under the options button you can set the default,,, silly me not used to 2005 ( today is day 1)

    Day 2 is much easier. But watch out for day 4, where you find out that you royally screwed up everything you did in day 2.

    Day 5 is the weekend. Yay!
