    Unanswered: SQL 2000 poor performance on Windows 2003

    Hi
    we have a windows 2003 server with 4 xeon 3Gh and 8 gb of memory.
    Now, when run a query or when click for properties is slowwwww very slow.

    No error in the event view

    Any idea

    I have no answers however presuming this is a new install and you are comparing pre 2003 performance it might be worth scanning this recent and, possibly, similar thread:

    Hi again

    I do not understantd this.

    if I change the level comp. from 8.0 to 7.0 the performance is beatifulll.
    But, why not with 8.0?
