    Unanswered: All rows from 2 tables

    i need to select all rows from 2 tables that resides in 2 different databases and 2 different servers and have similar structure...Is it possible via query or i need to do it via the usual way...connecting them(server and databases) seperately and fetching one after the other....please advise..

    You can configure and use DB2 Federated support and join the two tables in a single SQL statement.

    I am totally new to federated datbases...
    Can you guide me in this configuration and any example that would help me understand the funda...

    How do i use that in my query once i have configured the databses???

    I don't know the syntax off-hand, but you can download the Federated Systems manual to show you how to configure it. Once set up, you can reference tables in two different databases (on any machine) in a single SQL statement.
