    Unanswered: Find in string

    This is almost embarassing to ask but I haven't been in the VBA environment for awhile. Let's say a have a string

    myPath = C:\path1\bin;c;\path2

    What is the easiest way to split this into

    var1 = C:\path1\bin
    var2 = c:\path2

    have a look in the help system for the string functions especially split(), instr(), left$() & mid$()
    I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

    I just logged back on to say that split(myPath,";") was the answer.

    Thanks
