    Unanswered: Input form Question

    Dear all,

How can I set input form when I select "A" from Text box, another text
box will be indicate "1,2 and 3" for me to select.

    e.g.

select "1/F" in input form text box "Floor"
than "Location" text box only indicated "Rooms" and "Corridor" for me to select.

select "2/F" in input form text box "Floor"
than "Location" text box only indicated "Lift Lobby" and "Service Corridor" for me to select.

    My english is very poor.

    Many thanks.

Do you perhaps mean to select from a combobox? If so, you can then set the selections on the other controls in the After Update event.
Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...

Hi Kenny and "Welcome to the Forum"
Are you familiar with Access any? You have used Excel I understand, but some things in Excel are not equally the same in Access. You asked a question about making a selection in a TextBox, and one of our resident chief guru's (M Owen) tried to get you on the right track. You asked about
when I select "A" from Text box
and Mike's question to you was
Do you perhaps mean to select from a combobox
    .
The reason for him asking is because you can't make a Selection from just mere TextBoxes in Access. What you use to make a selection from mulitiple items is called a ComboBox or as some put it, a DropDownBox. Now, you can make a selection from a ListBox. So first, let's see that you are on the right track as he was trying to prod you into making sure of what you are asking. Just trying to keep things clear, and trust me, the folks here are very good and helpful.

    have a nice one,
    BUD
