    Unanswered: sql30061n

I am trying to build a dts package that will move data from db2 udb 7.2 to sql server 2000 on a windows 2000 machine. I built the connection to the db2 database using cli and registered it as an odbc datasource. when i test the connection it works just fine. but when i try to connect in dts i get the following:

[IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30081N A communication error has been detected. Communication
protocol being used: "TCP/IP". Communication API being used: "SOCKETS". Location
where the error was detected: "". Communication function detecting the error:
    "connect". Protocol specific error code(s): "10061", "*", "*". SQLSTATE=08001

outside of sql server it works. I have checked the service name and port number and they are correct. does anyone have any other ideas??

Look at the TCP keepalive (system configuration).
