    Cool Glad to be here!

I'm a rookie developer working (basically) with Java 1.4.2, Netbeans and mySQL. Although my company is mainly OS X oriented, we do operate cross-platform on most of our products.

Hello! I'm a (reasonably) experienced developer working in VB, Access, SQL Server and .NET (kind of). I'm starting to become quite obsessive about Johnny Cash!

    Talking Seems friendly...

I was googling a coding problem that I had become frustrated with and my search terms brought up one of the forums. I had some negative experiences with NB's support forums (and a few others) and I remained "gun-shy" about joining any for over a year, but I liked what I was reading at this group. Seems friendly and not as egocentric as the others I had looked at.
