    Unanswered: "Automatic reorg evaluation has finished successfully on database DB" in db2diag.log

    Hi,
    in db2diag.log file there are thousand of bellow messages

    2006-04-18-20.09.21.416792+120 I6348458A321 LEVEL: Event
    PID : 1597 TID : 2199210408304PROC : db2hmon
    INSTANCE: db2inst1 NODE : 000
    FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, Health Monitor, db2HmonEvalBackup, probe:260
    STOP : Automatic Backup: evaluation has finished successfully on database DB

    My db cfg settings are:
    Diagnostic error capture level (DIAGLEVEL) = 3

    Automatic maintenance (AUTO_MAINT) = OFF
    Automatic database backup (AUTO_DB_BACKUP) = OFF
    Automatic table maintenance (AUTO_TBL_MAINT) = OFF
    Automatic runstats (AUTO_RUNSTATS) = OFF
    Automatic statistics profiling (AUTO_STATS_PROF) = OFF
    Automatic profile updates (AUTO_PROF_UPD) = OFF
    Automatic reorganization (AUTO_REORG) = OFF
    How to turn this messages off?
    My system: db2 v8.2 fp11 on Linux S/390

    If you are not using health monitoir, switch it off

    HEALTH_MON is the dbm cfg to look for

    In addition to Sathya's suggestion, please check the following DB CFG paratmeter too.

    DB CFG parameter "Automatic maintenance" (AUTO_MAINT) should be OFF to get rid of such messages from the db2diag.log

    Sathyaram, thanks the HEALTH_MON parameter was ON.

    Jayanta_datta, AUTO_MAINT is OFF, as I have already posted in my previous
    post.
