Unanswered: combine 2 colums into 1

    Hi,

I have an Access 2000 DB with 2 colums, one called cabinet, another called drawer. I need to combine the information in these 2 columns into 1 called cabinet-drawer. Is there an easy way to do this?

It looks like this( 2 seperate columns) Cabinet Drawer
    1 a
    1 b

    My desired results are

    Cabinet-Drawer
    1a
    1B

    Thanks for the help

    Jeff

You know what Jeff - there is

Concatenation - that's what you need:
SELECT cabinet, drawer, cabinet & drawer AS [cabinet-drawer]
    FROM MyTable
