    Unanswered: Discoverer Export to Excel Problem

    Hi all,

    A Discoverer workbook result would like to export to a excel file.
    The result has 49K records.

    However everytime when exported until 37K, there was a error.

    ERROR:
    > The server is running low on virtual memory. This can happen due to
    > insufficient disk space or heap space on the server. Please contact
    > your Discoverer Administrator for assistance.

    I had already tried to modify the setting in perf.txt

    From
    CacheFlushPercentage = 50
    MaxVirtualDiskMem = 2048000000
    MaxVirtualHeapMem = 1024000000

    TO
    CacheFlushPercentage = 50
    MaxVirtualDiskMem = 4096000000
    MaxVirtualHeapMem = 2048000000

    However, the problem still cannot be solved.

    Please help. What I can do now ?

    Cool

    Try adding virtual memory:

    Start>Control Panel>System>Advanced>Performance Settings>Advanced>Virtual Memory

    Thanks for your suggestion.
    However, still have the same error after adding virtual memory.

    Any other suggestion ?

    You will not be able to export 49K of rows into excel. The maximum size of an excel spreadsheet , PER SHEET, is 65,536 rows by 256 columns
