Unanswered: Opening report made on different machine, invalid printer

Sometimes when I open a report that was made on a different computer, I get an "invalid printer" notice. It doesn't stop me from doing anything, but I was wondering if anyone knew why it happens or how to stop it?

Save the report on the current PC. The new that printer assignment will be saved with it and the message will go away.

Actually, I found another way after I posted this...

If you go to File => Page Setup there's a checkbox at the bottom that lets you save without any printer info attached to it. (Crystal Reports XI)

But thank you, that works as well.

    Cool!

    And on that note:

Also, you can "save without data", to save on the size of a .rpt file; refresh for data required.
