Arrow Unanswered: search only one column

I need to search only one column in my code. before for my search I was useing:

    Cells.find(.....)

so i tried adapting that by first using

    select cells ("A":"A")
    cells.find(...)

but that didnt work so I went to

    Cells([],[A]).find(...)

and nothing seems to be working. Any help?

    Hi

    How about

    Columns("F:F").Select
    Selection.Find(.. )

    or

    Columns("F:F").Find(.. )

    Does that help !?

Hint: Try using the Macro Recorder !!

And you shouldn't need to "select" to do what you want.
    old, slow, and confused
    but at least I'm inconsistent!
