OUR Client is the leading provider of online customized remarketing solutions for the automotive industry. The Client's data management and report service team is a team of 4 members, and manage the auction/accounting/CRM databases in Oracle and MS SQL servers and serve around 4000-5000 clients internally and externally for report services.
This intermediate Data Analyst role is responsible for
1) capturing and document enhancements and change requests to all internal and external reports;
2) understanding the Client's data and creating sophisticated analytical reports that are easy to use;
3) gathering and document the requirement for the upcoming Client's Business Intelligence Solution system. This person is to report to the leader of data management and report service team and serve as a liaison between the business users and the IT data management team.
Bachelor's degree in computer / business / mathematics / finance / equivalent experience.
a) 3+ year experience in IT.
b) Strong analytical skills (through Cognos, Excel, Access, Oracle or other query software).
c) Relational database experience, Experience in Oracle 9i or 10g database development a plus.
d) SQL/Oracle stored procedure, scripting and views.
e) Financial modeling.
f) Project management and good communication/presentation skills.
Able to assess needs and create sophisticated analytical reports that are easy to use. Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills that enable internal customers to use the analytical output created.
Able to communicate with IT, internal clients, external clients and customers in clear and concise manner.
Previous database and financial analysis experience is preferred. Previous experience in the automotive industries is a plus.
