I have a form that I use to look up values in a table. On the form I have a command button that sets the focus to the control field on the form "text20" then opens the "Find and Repalce" screen from Access 2002 sp3.

see code

Private Sub Find_By_Acc_Code_Click()
On Error GoTo Err_Find_By_Acc_Code_Click

Application.SetOption "Default Find/Replace Behavior", 1
Application.SetOption "Move After Enter", 0

Forms!frm_PART_MSTR!Text20.SetFocus

DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acEditMenu, 10, , acMenuVer20

Exit_Find_By_Acc_Code_Click:
Exit Sub

Err_Find_By_Acc_Code_Click:
MsgBox Err.Description
Resume Exit_Find_By_Acc_Code_Click

End Sub

When the form opens the "Look In" field has the name of the Form in it by default. But if I choose the down arrow key I see the name of the filed I set the focus to.

Question: How can I tell Acces to "Look In" the name of the Field I set focus on instead of the Form Name.

The problem I am having is that this: When I choose the "NEXT" button on the "Find and Replace" the process finds the next accurance on the form not the next record.

As you can see from my code I have set the Application.SetOption "Move After Enter" to 0. This did not help. I even tried setting the default unde Tools|Option|Keyword to "Don't Move"

So My question is: How can I set this so that the "Find and Repalce" screen defaults or simply uses the field I set the focus on.
