    Hello, and welcome to DBForums.

Since you've got a technical question as well as just saying "Hello", I'm going to move your post to the Oracle forum in the hope that someone there will be able to provide some suggestions.

Oracle DBA 101, by Theriault, Carmichael, & Viscusi is a decent starting point as well.

Also, Oracle Programming: A Primer, by Rajshekhar Sunderraman is good for beginners.
