    Unanswered: how to start an external database with specified form

    Hi,
    can i start another database running a specified form form that database , and this from code ??

    Yes, you can. Using the Database object, you can open and control a second database using the same commands as you would inside your current database.

    Lookup commands like "OpenForm" in the help file for some direction.

    What are you trying to accomplish? Do you want the second database to take control? For example, call a database that will compact/repair the first database? Or something else?

    I have a form in database #2 that pops up in database #1 that looks to the user like it is in database #1.

    If you give more details, then I am sure someone will have some code or more specific suggestions for you.

    I need to open a second database in order to let the user move some butootns, upon exit the dat is written into a table.
    Because the screens are heavy om graphics i want to keep it in a seperate database
