    Unanswered: sequel problem

    I don't understand why title= 1 when the field title is a text?
    Code:
    Select title, chapter FROM scarletandthebeast WHERE title = 1

    I noticed,, since the code is recycled, that there were "int" and "Cint" wrapping the "request":
    Code:
                chapter        = request("chapter")
                title     = request("title")
                subtitle       = request("subtitle")
    I might as well send the code as attachment. I think it's a numerical problem which I can't figure:

    I don't see anywhere in your code where you check "title = 1". What problem are you having? It's a little hard to guess with the amount of information you've given us.
    --wayne
    SELECT * FROM Users WHERE Clue>0

    Look at the function in asp. But I changed the code because it's giving too many complications.

    What I did is add numerical fields in the database:

    Code:
    id chapter chapternum title titlenum subtitle subtitlenum link
    Id is the numbering of the records. Chapter is used for the titles (Preface, introduction and then the titles for each chapter of the book), titlenum is for numbering of the titles (preface =1, introduction = 2...), subtitle is what it says, and subtitlenum is the numbering of each subtitle.

    I don't know if this method is good or you have anything better.

    Link is where I want the page to go, the url. THis will be a triple listbox combo.

    The problem is that there is a problem of reloading the data of the 2nd box. Check it here:

    I'm using a recycled code so you'll find "keyword"s in the url. Although I'm not using it right now I might need it later.
