    Unanswered: "Simple" search function

Here is what i want to do: I want to have a box (combo or text or something else?) where i can type in any words, letters, etc. and have the results come up in a box (list or form?) beneath the box i typed in my search. I have about 4 fields people would be searching. I'm assuming this would all be based off a query. Could someone please tell me how I can do all this, giving me code and some steps? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Query by Form is a good place to start. Have a look here.

Take a look at this post, it has an attachement on how to display the search results, and how to do searches
