    Unanswered: Oracle storage ...

    Hi.

I have a question, that might be easy to respond, but since I am not sure, I would appreciate some kind of help.
I want "copy" a database schema from one database (at Server#1) to another database (at Server#2).
When I say "I want "copy" a database schema" I mean that I want to reproduce the entire tables/views/indexes/constraints from the database on Server#1 to the database on Server#2.

I think, it must be done with the EXP and IMP command, but I am not sure ... and I am not sure how, too.

    My questions are:
    1. Are the EXP / IMP commands the most adequate methods to do this ?
    2. If so, What would be the correct sintax ??

    Thanks,

    Cool

Yes, use exp/imp, just read the manual for instructions.

I forgot to mention one important thing.
I forgot to mention that I do not want the data from the table, but only the structure.

    Is it possible ??

    Thanx

Sure, when you do the import respond 'N' to the import data question.
