    You can use :

    SYSDATE

    SYSTIMESTAMP

    CURRENT_DATE

    CURRENT_TIMESTAMP

    depending on your needs.

CURRENT_DATE and CURRENT_TIMESTAMP will return a value depending on your TIME_ZONE parameter, while SYSDATE and SYSTIMESTAMP will use the system time (with the timezone configured at OS level).

You can use all of them in any SQL statement (using DUAL or not).
